Baseball

Baseball cards are usually made out of heavy card stock.  And are traditionally associated with sports, baseball being the most popular.  In 1868 Peck and Snyder sporting goods, based in New York, produced trade cards.  Featuring baseball teams.  Peck and Snyder cards are considered the first baseball cards.

Baseball cards have been a favorite of mine for many years.  Long before the collectibles and antiques craze began.  In the late 60's my grandfather gave me a few baseball singles, sure wish I still had them.
