Star Wars the beginning
It was my 8Th grade field trip. A brand new movie theater, the new release had finally come out. You guest it, Starwars. As you can imagine, the kids were a little restless and very excited as we were choosing our seats. after the movie started, every student was captivated, this was a spectacular movie for our field trip.
Some students went back to see it again with their parents, friends and family. I remember one student saying he saw the movie 6 times. That's when it all started for star wars. And I was there!
When all the star wars toys hit the market, people couldn't get enough. Light sabers, Jedi figures and starwars posters were every where. A friend of mine named James, seemed to have had all of the starwarsmemorabilia. I remember playing with the action figures, looking at the trading cards and he even had a starwars alarm clock. James had a cool room, starwars wallpaper on one wall. Very envious. For halloween that year, he had the Darth Vader costume. I also saw many others, including the jedi night, droids, r2d2 it was a great time to be a kid. I have always been attracted to the trading cards, so I had a very extensive starwars tradingcard collection.
